A Personalised Lighter Alternative to a Brand-Only Shop

Brand-led lighter shops are great if you want exactly that brand, but they rarely take your own artwork or offer anime engraving. This page is for people who want a personalised piece instead.

Frequently asked questions

Why look for a THORENS lighter alternative?
If you want your own text, an anime design, or a holographic finish that a brand-only shop does not offer, a custom engraver is the natural alternative.
How much does one engraved lighter cost here?
Most designs are USD 50, and some special finishes are USD 55 or USD 68. That is the price of a single piece — there is no minimum order and no bulk requirement.
Will I see the shipping cost before I pay?
Yes. Shipping is a flat rate by region and it is shown before payment: USD 15 for most destinations, USD 10 for Taiwan, China and Hong Kong, China, and USD 30 for Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar. Full table on our shipping page.
How long does delivery take?
Estimated 7–15 days, tracked, and engraving takes 1–3 working days before it ships. We ship direct rather than routing through a transit hub, which is where most of the time difference comes from.
How does your price compare with other anime lighter shops?
Many anime lighter stores list a single engraved piece well above USD 100 and only reveal shipping at checkout. Our starting point is USD 50 with shipping shown up front. Always check both — but the gap is why people compare.
Can I order just one?
Yes — one piece is fine. You do not need to buy a set or reach a minimum quantity.
What happens if it arrives damaged or wrong?
You have 60 days to raise it. If there is a problem with the piece itself we send a replacement rather than asking you to ship it back first.
Does it come with fuel?
It ships with a flint fitted but no fluid — flammable liquids cannot travel by air, so you fill it with any standard lighter fluid when it arrives.
Can I get my own text or artwork?
Message us on Instagram @axlighter with what you have in mind and we will tell you what is possible on the body you want before you order.
Is this an official collaboration?
No. The anime and character designs are fan-made tributes, not official licensed merchandise, and we say so plainly rather than implying a licence we do not hold.
