Frequently asked questions
- What artwork can I send?
- A clean, high-contrast image works best. Simple line art and bold shapes engrave more clearly than busy photographs.
- Why does artwork need to be simplified?
- Engraving has no colour and no gradients. Detail has to be carried by lines and shapes, so very fine shading is usually lost.
- How deep is the engraving?
- Deep enough to be felt by hand and to survive daily carry. It is not a surface mark that rubs away.
- Can I engrave both sides?
- Yes. Many designs are engraved on multiple faces — check the options on the product page.
- How long does a custom order take?
- Around 1–3 business days for engraving and dispatch, then 7–15 days tracked delivery.
